• immunolocalization and epitope tagging are a bit tricky -- neither are on the quiz -- but there may be a control question
  • the difference is between what we observe in a tissue or what we see in a gel
• standards on the above gels
• epitope tags aren't really as much in the quiz
• difficult: controls for immunoblotting -- always found hard
• explain the flash ... chance they won't quite get the technique shuffle
