Notes 20110111 CIS 6320 Image Processing
From SnOwy - Ed's Wiki Notebook
Dr. Matsakis' image processing course
Contents |
Image Processing
- difference between this course and the undergraduate version is that this one is more mathematically intense
- we work more on transformations whereas the undergrad version focused on spatial domain
- transforms: Fourier, cosine, sine, Hartley, Walsh, Hadamard, ... see http://www.socs.uoguelph.ca/~matsakis/CIS6320/syllab.htm
On books and references
- references are used; no specific books are the official textbooks
- most often used: Gonzalez and Woods; Digital Image Processing, Third Edition (2008)
- IEEE Transactions: Image Processing / Pattern Analysis / Elsevier Computer Vision and Image Understanding
- Conferences: International Conference on Image Processing
